Lcr 22lr or charter arms pathfinder
If the charco feels good and.smooth to you you will likely be fine. I guess mostly because of longer barrels and different style holsters. I love my single six and scouts too!! They carry better for me open.
LCR 22LR OR CHARTER ARMS PATHFINDER PLUS
I have a '40's 922 that will shoot under 1" 50'!! Fixes site and straight to POA! Plus they are usually CHEAP! Mine is a 9 shot LR blue 3" barrel with ivory tone grips. They are well made and stand the test if time. These can have butter smooth action because most folks used them. PLUS adj sites.Īnother better choice is a older H&R. I grabbed it and it's wonderfully accurate. The charco was my choice but this Taurus was fresh from factory had had action job and was cheaper even than my below dealer cost for the charco. I bought because it was turned off by the cost and shot count of Rugers 6 shot Maggie the LCR. BTW if your a NRA pistol instructor you can buy a new charco from factory at less than cost. Better than Rossi but not as good as S&W. I would say better than Yaurus mostly because your dealing with USA company and service is much better. If you can find a TPH Walther and don't have to take a second mortgage GRAB IT!!įor the Charco. Charter Arms Pathfinder holsters can come in a large variety of materials and carry styles that will allow you an easy draw and re-holstering while being. Taking care of your holster is an important thing and there are many options including break-in or adjustment. If you want this size style look at the Walther or Ruger. A Charter Arms Pathfinder holster keeps dust, moisture and water away. Best of luck finding your carry shooter of choice. It's a pistol that flies under the radar in most circle because of repeated internet critisim from those that have never actually owned one. I think if you shoot one you will buy it. These pistols sell for $300 around here in used but good condition. If you actually get one in your hands and disassemble it you with see the internal fit and finish is comparable to your other good quality rimfire semi autos. Whatever anyone thinks about them, I love mine. I have a Galco IWB that it fits and rides very securely in but I'm just not a big fan of IWB for extended carry. I'm searching for a quality leather OTW to carry daily. With a good nylon holster I've found I forget it on my belt.
Kinda have to get used to where those hit. The hyper velocity ammo shoots well but prints high above point of aim. Mine seams to like the high velocity stuff best. Over 2000 rounds of mixed ammo without a hiccup. I have ran every kind of long rifle ammo thru mine with no FTF/FTE problems. Plus, with an MSRP of just 409 this gun is one of the most affordable. It is not a target pistol like your MkII but is more than accuate enough to dispatch critters out to 30 yards if I do my part. The Pathfinder’s double-action design is simple to operate and maintain, and since muzzle blast with this gun is minimal and recoil is almost non-existent, the Target Pathfinder is a great choice for introducing new shooters to the sport. It shoots decent groups at 15 yards in my opinion.
LCR 22LR OR CHARTER ARMS PATHFINDER FULL
Being a full metal frame it carries better for me than the Walther P22 my wife carries. It fits the hand much like the Walther PPK or Sig 232. I have had S&W, Ruger, and other 22 pistols to compare it to.
